WHO IS KERRI SMITH?

Kerri Smith is the Principal/Licensee of Kerri Smith Properties - The Right Agent.

Kerri's was introduced to real estate when she was headhunted back in 2005 by a Principal of a local agency who thought that her personality and drive (she'd bought & sold numerous homes) would make for a great agent. At that time Kerri was running a business but, when the opportunity was put forward to her, jumped at the chance as she knew that real estate could well be her future. 

After a short time working as a sales agent, Kerri decided to purchase an established Franchise agency in Albany Creek. She stayed with the Franchise for 5 years but realised that as an Independent agent/agency, she could better serve her clients in the way they deserved to be. A short stay at Peter Campbell Realty had taught her that. No targets (list at whatever price...the sellers will come down), no pressure to sell at any price (keep the Franchise name out there)....rather pull together the best possible deal for the sellers in a way which met their needs, not the agency needs. 

Kerri has been trading as "The Right Agent" since 2013. Recently more focus has been put on "Kerri Smith Properties" as her trading name as it's more recognisable for her past clients (many of her listings are past clients and their referrals), but also endorses the more personal service Kerri provides to her customers, both sellers and buyers. 

Kerri has also contracted her services to other agencies on occasion, so her sales etc with these agencies won't be reflected in online portals, but this has always been only if when suited her own clients. Nothing is more important to her than ensuring her sellers and buyers are being looked after at all times. 

Communication and professionalism are high priorities for Kerri and her customers often compliment her on this. As she always says, even if there's not too much to say, to receive regular updates is much better for both sellers and buyers than sitting waiting on the phone to ring, wondering what's going on. 

An ex Branch Manager for the Commonwealth Bank in Sydney, Kerri and her family moved to sunny Queensland when the children were young. Both boys and their own families now live locally in Cashmere, and Kerri and her husband currently in Joyner.  An animal lover, Kerri enjoys the company of two dogs, A German Shepherd and a Border Collie pup and spends her spare time walking, playing and of course cuddling these furry lovebugs.
